Supervision Level 1

UA members only. Course length: 40 hours


Service Description

Formerly named the NAUSC Foreman Certification Program, this training program offers essential skills and concepts needed to supervise a crew in the many sectors that Piping Professionals work within. Topics include communication & core values, planning, documentation, and legal responsibilities. Included in the program are sessions designed to build personal and supervisory skills, plan and supervise a multi-discipline work crew, manage safety requirements, provide essential training in due diligence and discipline, and workflow scheduling. The course uses individual and group activities and quizzes to reinforce learning. The NAUSC Supervision Level 1 program is a prerequisite course for the NAUSC Supervision Level 2 program and the Industrial Construction Crew Supervisor (ICCS) designation (Alberta). This course is for UA members only. $200 deposit required for ALL who register. Your deposit will be returned at the end of the course or once all books are returned.

Cancellation Policy

Due to limited seating, we request that you cancel at least 48 hours before a scheduled class. If you have to cancel your class, we will fully refund your deposit (or cost of course) when cancelled before the 48 hours. However, if you do not cancel prior to the 48 hours, you will be charged a $25 cancellation fee.
